Our Story

After many years working within the pharmaceutical industry I was at a stage in my working life where I needed a complete change of career.

I was fortunate enough at the time to be presented with the opportunity to start my own business. This is where the journey began of pursuing my dreams of owning my own cafe.

​

This was of course a complete change of direction and a massive learning curve was in front of me but with the support of family and friends I took the leap.

​

Here we are three and a half years on and I have not looked back. Over this time I have made new friends and watched friendships grow amongst my customers.

​

I have put my heart and soul into making this cafe a success and I'm proud of what my team and I have created.

​

I feel like I have achieved what I set out to create, an industrial chic style cafe which offers a relaxed, calm and contemporary space for both local residents and tourists alike. 

​

The first floor provides stunning views along the estuary at West Yelland towards both Instow and Fremington Quay.
